I got that Job!

This will probably be my most incoherent post, my apologies in advance. Yes, I got the job, they gave it to me.

A jig, a whistle. Create your own song and dance with me. another whistle, a twist, one leg raised, both hands up, shaking waist now. jumping up and down.

Thank you Lord!

And thank you all who wished me well, and gave tips, words of encouragement and prayers.

Why it’s a big deal is many reasons. I have been out of the formal employent for some years. Even though I have been doing a couple of things here and there, it was never consistent. In many ways I am re-entering formal employment. The other reason, and perhaps the greatest is that I am changing my career, a big shift. I am going back to my first love, mathematics! :)   My job title ends with …..Analyst. Nice! The reasons are many more…be sure, you will read about them. Talking of which, will I still blog?

Sometimes, what seems like a weakness can be your strength. In addition to a Mathematically inclined individual, these people were looking for somebody who can speak and write good English, since the company’s clients are  International. Apparently, that is hard to comeby in the land of the Swiss.

Yes, they wringed me out with their lengthy interviews. It turns out that even the ‘coffee with the team’ was an interview in it’s own right. The team had to give their feedback.

Enough, back to my jig!

    Congratulations! :D

What I find absolutely amazing is that there are actually people in this world who:
    a) Love being employed.
    b) Love jobs that have to do with mathematics – accountants, ….analysts.

So thank you for forever reminding me of the collage that is human society.
Now that you have a job that of course means you will be getting a Salari….so in honour of that:

It would be nice to say I designed the avatars, and even put mathematical patterns…. alas, not so. That is a new wordpress feature! :) :) I am clever, only to a certain point!
