Rest In Peace

Today was your appointed time,

From us to depart,

And from it all.

We will cherish the good we shared,

And even what seemed not so good.

And though we will see you no more,

A part of you will always be with us.

For you touched us in many ways,

You were ours, and we were yours,

Now you are His’.

My father In Law succumbed to illness and passed away today. I believe he went to be with the Lord. Photographs are precious. I have scavenged through our albums just staring at him and re-living the moments. It’s like I want to carve him permanently in my mind, lest I forget the man who welcomed me wholly into his home, just like one of his very own. He was special to me.
