Where are the voices of the Kenyan leaders? Where are the Bishops, the Cardinals, and anyone else who is looked upon as a leader?
Where are the voices that will be heard at this bleak time in the history of our country? Who will quell the fires of violence that have rocked our otherwise peaceful nation?
Who will stand up and lend their voice that the carnage that is ongoing is pointless?
To Kibaki and Raila, who of you will take the stand and demonstrate what a true leader is? Is it only about the office, or about the kenyan people? Does any of you care that innocent Kenyans are getting slaughtered, burnt, injured, displaced? Does any of you care, that Kenyans are sleeping out in the cold, hungry in a free country such as Kenya is?
When our country is reduced to such carnage, does it matter anymore who sits at the throne? What is the point of it all? Kenyans woke up early on the 27th of December and voted. Peace prevailed and many hoped for a leader to emerge. And many hoped to get on with the business of living. Is this the reward Kenyans get?
